Braided rope threaded through handle end of spear for better maneuverability. Wood tine guard with strap and snap. Made in the Amish Community supervised by ice fishermen. Bought an Amish made spear and ice saw from you last October. The ice saw cuts better than I imagined, and my son has speared at least a dozen pike with the spear which was his Christmas present. Throws strait, and holds the fish well.
