Antique French cavalry saber, D with crown mark, 19th century

Genuine antique French cavalry saber with scabbard, "D with crown" mark. I can see clearly 2 same marks "D with a crown on the top of D" on the base of the blade.

And on the brass hilt. There is one more additional mark C with a crown on the brass hilt. The patina of the blade, dirt in the engravings of brass hilt and used leather handle, everything proves the age of 100-250 years old. Length with a handle: 37.5 inches = 95.2 cm.

Length of the blade: 32 inches = 81.3 cm. Length of the scabbard: 33 inches = 83.8 cm. Weight of the sword: 800 g.

Weight of the sword in scabbard: 1300 g. Condition: the sword is used, but no defects.

The scabbard does not fit perfectly, possibly it is from the other sword. Provenance: Private collection of arms and swords in Florida, USA.
