The handle itself is worth 100 bucks. It includes a solid Japanese hardwood 26 mm handle tightly wrapped with 100% black leather rawhide. The stingray skin has been stained red and I have took the liberty of drilling both of the holes for you so you Have one less worry.Both the Fuchi and Kashira our solid brass, displaying the gorgeous and elegant morning glory pattern. These items were handcrafted in Japan, using the finest brass. All of our swords and parts are imported and assembled right here in Auburn Alabama USA. Included in the listing are all four of the brass jewelry, two brass morning glory, and two peach blossom Menuki as I believe in covering all four areas where the bamboo shoots are inserted.
It only adds elegance and detail to your katana, it also prevents the bamboo shoots from being pushed all the way through on either side as all four of the external holes are covered. This gorgeous brass Habaki collar included in the lot as well. It is solid, my friend, and one of our more high-end models. These are handcrafted in Japan and imported as well.
There are replicas and knock off models that are similar here online but these are definitely legit. Our customer service feedback speaks for itself. I will be including two bamboo shoots to insert in the whole of your new katana as well as a set of fittings. Included in this listing is a very unique bonus item that I felt led to include. This is a custom black and red Saya made out of solid, cedar and coated with three coats of regal red. It also has poplar fittings, and it is trimmed in black. I have two brand new brass fittings installed in the horn, and I will also be including a gorgeous, black and red silk Sageo with the Saya (sheath). The she has four layers of industrial strength, clearcoat epoxy, and is built to last the test of time.There are a couple of cosmetic blemishes on the side itself as it is not brand new. As I said before, I'm just throwing it in as a bonus. I believe it will match the handle and the set up on whatever blade you have for it perfectly. As seen in the photos, the handle is brand new, however, it has been recently removed from one of my custom builds, and does have a couple of light blemishes that do not affect the functionality of the handle at all.
Other than those couple of cosmetic blemishes, there is no damage to this handle whatsoever. The blemishes are on the rawhide.This set up retails for about 200 bucks. I'm not going to leave a best offer available on this lot because I believe with the whole heart that the amount I'm asking for is more than fair. The wave pattern collar is solid brass and is brand new, the bamboo stick are new, all four brass jewelry are new, the handle is new with a couple, cosmetic blemishes, the black and red silk is new. The only thing used is the two brass, spacer fittings and the sheath. This prevents anybody from purchasing things from my store, opening the package, using the items for 30 days, and then returning them. I've had this happen on more than one occasion, and this is the only way I know to protect both of our interest.
