DO NOT TOUCH THE EDGE OF YOUR KNIFE DIRECTLY WITH YOUR FINGERS. Do not put you knife into leather sheath when you store the knife for long time, you need to place the knife separate and oiled.

Never put your knife in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water. Tips for Care of your Knife. Every Damascus/Stainless/Tool Steel Knife needs proper care from rust for long lasting usage. To prevent rust, do not store knife in leather sheath for long periods.

If you wash the knife, do so in warm soapy water. Oil or wax the blade to prevent rust also wrap in a soft cloth and store.

Wipe excess oil or wax before placing in the leather sheath. If rust appears, rub the blade with a metal polish like Basso or a very fine steel wool, then oil or wax the blade.
