New, never used, never carried condition. The handles are made out of spent 50 caliber BMG rifle brass shells. The blades are Finnish Lauri carbon steel hardened to HRc 62. Polished brass ferrules and acorn nuts.

The last picture pretty much tells the story of making the knives. Besides intricately carved ferrule to make the blade sit tightly and brass acorn nuts, the shells are filled with Devcon epoxy. Each knife has a bronze loop screwed to the butt of a handle to hold a leather lanyard. Perfectly fit Russian made black natural leather stitched and riveted sheaths will fit up to 2" belt (intended for 5cm wide standard Russian officers "portupeya).
