A nice addition to any blade collection and it looks so very AWESOME! The sheath is designed to hold the knife very securely within the sheath. For the Collector / Investor: overtime, pushing the knife into and removing from the sheath will cause wear to the blade and guard. Additionally, a lot of Buck sheaths (and, in general, sheaths from all major manufacturers), will scratch the blade when the knife is put into and taken out of the sheath. I highly recommend to Never put this knife in the sheath; this sheath will, most likely, scratch the finish on the blade.
Again, this is for the Collector / Investor - and I feel it should be said once again.
