For sale here only is my limited edition sword handle which is a custom made for a Viking Anglo Saxon Norse Sword. The sword handle pictured is of. A magnificent Viking/Saxon sword example that was sacrificed at Skåne in Sweden but it's origin is believed to have been Viking/English and possibly from Scandinavian York (referred to at the time a Jorvik or Danish/Norwegian York).Today it is on display at the Historical Museum in Stockholm. The original was done in metal but the one you see pictured below is not ancient but one I made to look ancient. It is done in faux ivory using Viking designs I found from known mammoth ivory finds in Russia that were made from ivory taken from a walrus tusk, whale unicorn horn and even mammoth tusk sticking up above the frozen tundra in Siberia. I have aged it to look 100% like a real artifact and nice enough to be put in a Museum.
This is a copy of one of the finest Viking/Saxon sword handle designs ever found and you are looking at my copy of it. You can also have me build you a custom made scabbard for it as well. The amount of work on that will determine the end price. Each handle is made to order and not kept in stock.
Takes a week or more to make usually depending on work load at the time but could even be less then a week. Each handle will be unique in it's finished look as no two will ever look 100% the same as the aging and antiquing process reacts differently on each job. A numbered COA is available upon request.
I have many other Viking and medieval scabbard designs to chose from as well.
